About Me
I am a writer and editor currently living in Cincinnati, Ohio.
An audience-first content expert with a passion for great stories, I have extensive experience in the agricultural, nature and higher education spaces. I’m a seasoned editorial and content project manager, and have worked as a professional in institutional, executive and fundraising communications roles. I’m also a podcast creator, editor and producer with video strategy experience. I am both proficient and comfortable with digital content-first storytelling strategies, as well as editorial SEO. Curiosity is my superpower.
It’s a tricky thing, working with words in the age of content, especially with AI cranking out words at unheard-of speed. There’s just so much content these days. Why would anybody want to put more out there?
I ask myself this, and the question has led me to a basic philosophical approach to my craft: The stuff needs to be good. Pieces should be fun or helpful (ideally both), and the onus is on me to give folks reason to spend time with something I’ve written or edited.
Engaging leads, well-structured stories, crafted sentences—whatever I can do to make an article or other piece of writing good, I will do. Because in the age of too much content, the good stuff stands out.
Thanks for checking out my site.
